Welcome Team! I am Tom Asefi, President of GAITS, and it is my distinct honor and pleasure to
welcome you to our Company. We look forward to a long and fruitful relationship with you as we work
together to deliver quality service to Sandia National Laboratories. We have initiated a transition
process, summarized below, to make your transition to GAITS as smooth as possible, enabling you to
continue productive service to Sandia without interruption. Our transition process for you will
begin with a Welcome Email which invites you to our private Sandia IT Contract Associates portal,
where you will be able to obtain orientation forms, benefits information and updates on our
transition activities. Our Supplier Manager, Richard Rodgers, is fully engaged and eager to meet
you, as am I.
Overview of Key Steps of Our Transition Process
- Receive Welcome Email from GAITS with introductory information and instructions to log into our
private Sandia IT Contract Associates portal.
- Log into our portal, enter personal information (target completion date: June 3) and prepare
orientation forms (target completion date: June 10).
- Receive email invitation from GAITS to enroll in our benefits plan online in our portal. (Open
enrollment period target timeframe: June 10-June 16)
- Attend, by email invitation, GAITS orientation session. (target timeframe for New Mexico
Contract Associates: June 16-June 24) (target timeframe for California Contract Associates: June
13-14)
- GAITS IT Contract Associates begin performance for Sandia June 28
