GAITS Awarded 8 New Contracts Supporting United States Air Force under the Multi-Operational Professional Services (MOPS) Contract in the Month of May

Alexandria, VA, May 2007 - Global Analytic Information Technology Services (GAITS), a Virginia-based systems integrator and IT services Firm, announced today that it has been awarded 8 contracts supporting the United States Air Force's A3, A7, A8 and A9 Directorates under the Multi-Operational Professional Services (MOPS) Contract.

CONTRACT 013 - Headquarters Air Combat Command Information Operations Division, Directorate of Air and Space Operations (ACC/A3I), Cyberspace and Information Operations (IO) Support. Providing systems analytical and technical support to the various components of HQ ACC/A3I's IO and Cyberspace programs, GAITS shall support ACC/A3I organization, training, and equipping functions of IO/Cyberspace forces and capabilities with emphasis on IO/Cyberspace force development, operational IO/Cyberspace integration training, and network warfare operations force and training development. Joining GAITS as teammate on this effort is Northrop Grumman TASC.

CONTRACT 014 - Headquarters Air Combat Command Directorate of Requirements Systems Support Division Mission Planning Systems Branch (HQ ACC A8SM), Air Force Mission Planning System Support. Providing technical support to HQ ACC/A8SM Mission Planning Systems Branch.ACC/A8SM requires direct support in three subtask areas, which are MPS general requirements and funding support/Program Objective Memoranda (POM), hardware support and test support in order to plan and direct sustainment and modernization activities. CONTRACT 015 - Headquarters Air Combat Command Directorate of Requirements Systems Support Division Mission Planning Systems Branch (HQ ACC/A8SM), Mission Planning System Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) Support. Providing technical, analytic and programmatic acquisition process support and technical assessments in support of operations, research, and development, acquisition and sustainment activities in the areas of mission planning, requirements analysis and definition, acquisition strategy development, management for legacy and future systems, advice and assistance on all aspects of the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) process, assistance and support of to the requirements officers and Program Element Monitor, (PEM) for the MPS program and other action officers involved in various aspects of the MPS program. Providing technical, analytic and programmatic acquisition process support and technical assessments in support of operations, research, and development, acquisition and sustainment activities in the areas of mission planning, requirements analysis and definition, acquisition strategy development, management for legacy and future systems, advice and assistance on all aspects of the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) process, assistance and support of to the requirements officers and Program Element Monitor, (PEM) for the MPS program and other action officers involved in various aspects of the MPS program. CONTRACT 019 - Headquarters Air Combat Command Security Forces Division (HQ ACC/A7S), Active Denial System (ADS) Advanced Concept Technology Demonstration (ACTD) Support. Providing assessment document development, support and coordination for the ADS ACTD program for A7SP. Joining GAITS as teammate on this effort is SAIC.

CONTRACT 020 - Headquarters Air Combat Command Security Forces Division (HQ ACC/A7S), Agile Combat Support Technical and Analytical Assistance. Providing mission area planning support, modification management support, acquisition management support, requirements analysis support, and technical support/reporting services for mission area planning support. Joining GAITS as teammate on this effort is SAIC.

CONTRACT 021 - Directorate of Analyses and Lessons Learned, Analyses Division (ACC/A9A), Munitions Effectiveness and Target Vulnerability Analysis. Providing expertise in CFAM, WEAPS, JMEM and other applicable models and analytical tools to support study plan objectives, create and maintain input data structures and files, run/modify the models, analyze model output, prepare output for presentation, and assist in final documentation of ACC/A9Aanalytical efforts. These efforts include but are not limited to future force structure analyses, munitions analyses and future trade-off studies such as an Analysis of Alternatives (AoA). CONTRACT 022 - Headquarters Air Combat Command Comptroller Directorate (ACC/FM), Financial Analysis, Cost and Services Support. Providing financial analysis and financial services expertise, advice and assistance to the Comptroller and those assigned to the Comptroller Directorate. This will require discussion, coordination and/or travel to and with the ACC staff, wings, DFAS, Air Staff, and Office of the Secretary of Defense OSD.
