Alexandria, VA, April 2008 - Global Analytic IT Services (GAITS), a Virginia-based SI and IT Services Firm, announced today that it has been awarded a Second United States Air Force (USAF) Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) contract to provide oversight of the USAF's Expeditionary Combat Support System (ECSS) Program. ECSS is implementing the Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) suite, combined with software from Click and Industrial and Financial Systems, to replace existing software systems to support the USAF's worldwide logistics system.

  • identifying people, process, and tool changes that will increase program success probability
  • providing quality checks and appropriate metrics to help measure and predict successful performance
  • implementing Lessons Learned from other military ERP implementations
  • providing process improvement based on previous ERP experience
  • increasing visibility into using checklists for milestones
  • providing in-depth evaluation of critical path areas
  • evaluating the status of the program at various phases
  • evaluating the strategy for data migration

"The GAITS' Team is committed to aiding the US Air Force in their goals through our proficiency in Program Management and Validation and Verification. We are pleased that our prior work on this program has resulted in high customer satisfaction which resulted in this contract extension," said Tony Asefi, CEO.
