GAITS Awarded Task Order Supporting U.S. Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI)
under the Multi-Operational Professional Services (MOPS) Contract
Alexandria, VA, April 2007 - Global Analytic Information Technology Services
(GAITS), a Virginia-based systems integrator and IT services Firm, announced today that it has been
awarded a task order supporting the United States Air Force's A3 and A5 Directorates under the
Multi-Operational Professional Services (MOPS) Contract.
This task supports the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) and
due to the sensitivity of their work, the personnel supporting these tasks are carefully selected
and based upon the feedback from the customers, absolutely critical to accomplishment of the
mission. Joining GAITS as teammate on these efforts is Northrop Grumman TASC.
TASK ORDER 008, Air Force Office of Special Investigations
(AFOSI), Detachment 252 (Det 252), Human Resource Management and Logistician Management
Support. Provide Human Resource Management and Logistic Management Support for the Air
Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI), Detachment 252 (Det 252) to support the Detachment
Directorate of Mission Support. Det 252 is a detachment in AFOSI's 2nd Field Investigations
Region (2 FIR) and is charged with full spectrum mission execution in support of the United States
Air Force and Department of Defense operations worldwide; with one geographically separated
subordinate Operating Location (OL) and personnel continuously deployed to numerous locations
providing specialized criminal, fraud, force protection, foreign counterintelligence and
antiterrorism investigative support to deployed commanders. The detachment consists of 69 active
duty personnel (officer/enlisted/civilian) and 11 reservists.
