March 5, 2007. Alexandria, VA- GAITS was notified this week by the Great Place to Work® Institute that the company has been downselected and is in the final running for the prestigious "Best Small & Medium Companies to Work for in America" recognition. The final 2007 list will be announced at the SHRM Annual Conference & Exposition in late June and published in the July issue of HR Magazine.

"We are honored to be included in the final selection phase in the "50 Best" process and are grateful to all our staff professionals who have helped make this recognition happen," said Thomas S. Asefi, President of GAITS. "Being downselected for this honor reflects the trust-based relationship among our staff and management."

Each year, the joint endeavor of the Great Place to Work® Institute (headquartered in San Francisco) and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) provides an opportunity for companies to compete for the honor of being named one of the "Best Small & Medium Companies to Work for in America." The Great Place to Work® Institute produces various Best Companies to Work For lists in the U.S. Companies are selected for these lists primarily on the basis of their employees' responses to the Great Place to Work® Trust Index©. The Trust Index is a proprietary employee survey developed by the Great Place to Work® Institute. Further information used for selection to the list is provided by completion of the Great Place to Work® Culture Audit©, a two-part management questionnaire.

Founded in 1997, GAITS stands among Washington Technology's Fast 50 as well as the Deloitte & Touche Fast 50 companies. The firm provides the professional services required in today's new era of cyber security, defense, and eGovernment to federal agencies including the Department of the Army, Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), Department of Energy (DOE), and the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
